Eating my way through Hanoi

Hanoi is notorious for its plethora of street food. In my last day and a half, I set out to try as many different dishes as my stomach could handle. This was only a small fraction of what Hanoi has to offer.

Because I’ve been waking up at 6 am every day, I usually ended up having second breakfast by 10 am, which worked out well for my self-guided food tour through the city.

To say I ate to my heart’s (and stomach’s) content is an understatement

Vietnamese barbecue (pork and beef)

Pho Bo

Bun Cha
Starting with a serious first breakfast
Before…
…And after: Bird Salad. Beak, feet, wings, and all
Not sure what the Vietnamese name is, but these were clear rice dumplings with pork and shrimp

Condensed milk yogurt with lots of surprises, including coconut mochi, fresh jackfruit and mango, and jello hearts filled with cheese
